REFER INDIVIDUALS TO THE APPROPRIATE GENETIC CONSULTATIONS AT CLINICS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THE CLINICS ARE CONDUCTED BY A GENETICS TEAM FROM THE HATTIE B. MUNROE CENTER WITH MEYER CHILDREN'S REHABILITATION INSITUTE. GENETICE CONSULTATIONS DEAL WITH ISSUES SURROUNDING THE OCCURRENCE OR RISK OF OCCURRENCE OF A BIRTH DEFECT OR AN INHERITED CONDITION IN THE FAMILY. QUESTIONS ABOUT DIAGNOSIS, CAUSE, PREVENTION AND PROGNOSIS ARE ADDRESSED. THE INTENT OF A CONSULTATION IS TO PROVIDE THE FAMILY AND PRIMARY PHYSICIAN WITH THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES ABOUT MEDICAL MANAGEMENT AND FAMILY LIFE. TEAM COMES OUT FOUR TIMES A YEAR. CALL TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR CONSULTATION
