WORKS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH UNEXPECTED, NECESSARY EXPENSES WHICH, THOUGH RELATIVELY SMALL, WOULD THREATEN THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF A PERSON OR FAMILY LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK. THOSE WHO WOULD OTHERWISE FALL BETWEEN THE CRACKS. NOT DESIGNED TO BE AN ONGOING SOURCE OF SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED LONG-TERM FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. 4 TYPES OF GRANTS AVAILABLE: 1) SELF-SUFFICIENCY 2) NEW EMPLOYMENT 3) INDEPENDENT LIVING AND 4) NON-PROFIT GRANTS.
