PROGRAMS INCLUDE: HEALTH EQUIPMENT LOAN PROGRAM (H.E.L.P.)-COLLECTS, MAINTAINS AND LENDS DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT (SUCH AS WALKERS, WHEELCHAIRS, COMMODES, CRUTCHES, BATH BENCHES) H.E.L.P. PROVIDES FOR THOSE HAVING A NEED FOR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, BUT LACK FUNDS OR INSURANCE FOR NEW EQUIPMENT, AND DO NOT QUALIFY FOR MEDICARE OR MEDICAID. PRISON MINISTRY RAINBOW SEEKERS CAMP-PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR 80 INNER-CITY, FINANCIALLY CHALLENGED YOUTH TO ATTEND A WEEK-LONG SUMMER CAMP (SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR 4TH-9TH GRADERS). RESPITE CARE SENIOR COMPANIONS-SERVE ONE-ON-ONE WITH THE FRAIL ELDERLY AND OTHER HOMEBOUND PERSONS WHO HAVE DIFFICULTLY COMPLETING EVERYDAY TASKS.
