ALL CLINICS ARE FREE WALK-IN EVENTS. PATIENTS ARE SEEN ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. NO APPOINTMENTS ACCEPTED. CLINIC WITH A HEART WAS FOUNDED IN 2003 TO HELP SERVE THE PEOPLE IN LINCOLN AND SURROUNDING AREAS WHO NEED HEALTHCARE. VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE HEALTH CARE TO PATIENTS FREE OF CHARGE. IF A PATIENT REQUIRES MORE SPECIALIZED TREATMENT, THE CLINIC REFERS TO VOLUNTEER PROVIDERS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO PROVIDE SERVICES FREE OF CHARGE OR AT REDUCED RATES. HEALTHCARE SERVICES CURRENTLY PROVIDED INCLUDE: DENTAL SCREENINGS, CHIROPRACTIC CARE, PHYSICAL THERAPY, LABORATORY SERVICES AND MEDICATION ASSISTANCE. A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION, OUR MISSION IS TO INCREASE ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO CARE BECAUSE OF FINANCIAL, LEGAL, LANGUAGE, AWARENESS, OR OTHER BARRIERS. A COLLABORATION BETWEEN LINCOLN'S FAITH-BASED COMMUNITY AND CENTER FOR PEOPLE IN NEED, BUSINESS LEADERS, ORGANIZATIONS AND STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. THE CLINIC SERVES AS AN ENTRY POINT TO LINCOLN'S HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. VOLUNTEERS FROM LINCOLN'S CHURCHES AND HEALTHCARE COMMUNITY PROVIDE FREE, HIGH QUALITY, CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE CARE. CLINIC DAYS ARE EVERY TUESDAY AND THURSDAY. INDIVIDUALS CAN COME TO THE CLINIC A MAXIMUM OF 3X'S IN 12 MONTHS.
