PROVIDES HELP WITH BASIC LIVING NEEDS (RENT, MORTGAGE PAYMENTS, ROOM/BOARD, FOOD, NON-FOOD ITEMS, UTILITIES, CLOTHING), COUNTY ASSISTED CREMATION BASED ON FINANCIAL ELIGIBILITY OF FAMILY MEMBERS OR ASSIGNMENT OF LEGAL RIGHT TO CONTROL DISPOSITION OF REMAINS TO DOUGLAS COUNTY, MEDICAL CARE THROUGH PRIMARY HEALTH CARE NETWORK, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND JOB TRAINING FOR CHRONICALLY UNEMPLOYED, OUT-OF-COUNTY TRANSPORTATION FOR STRANDED NON-DOUGLAS COUNTY RESIDENTS WHO MEET CERTAIN CRITERIA. ASSISTANCE IS LIMITED TO THOSE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 19-64 WHO ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR OTHER PUBLIC ASSISTANCE AND/OR DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT INCOME/RESOURCES TO MEET ALL OR PART OF THEIR SHELTER NEEDS.
