PROVIDES: 1) VOCATIONAL-SHELTERED WORK TRAINING PROGRAM AT ONE OF VODEC'S THREE LOCATIONS IN OMAHA, LAVISTA AND COUNCIL BLUFFS, ENCLAVE WORK TRAINING ENVIRONMENT ON-SITE LOCAL BUSINESSES, SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT, INCLUDING JOB PLACEMENT, COACHING AND A FULL RANGE OF FOLLOW UP SERVICES, SCHOOL TO WORK TRANSITIONAL, WORK EXPERIENCE AND WORK ADJUSTMENT SERVICES, PROGRAMS EMPHASIZING BASIC DAILY LIVING AND SOCIAL SKILLS. 2) RESIDENTIAL-SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS LIVING ON THEIR OWN. FOSTERS AN ENVIRONMENT THAT INSPIRES INCLUSION, PERSON-CENTERED DEVELOPMENT OF BASIC LIVING SKILLS. 3) DAY SERVICES-DAILY LIVING SKILLS, MULTI-SENSORY STIMULATION THERAPY, INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES FOR PERSONS WITH ANY TYPE OF DISABILITY. OFFICES IN OMAHA AND IOWA. 3 WORK CENTERS IN COUNCIL BLUFFS, LAVISTA AND OMAHA AND 2 DAY HABILITATION SITES IN OMAHA. VARIETY OF RESIDENTIAL SERVICES IN BOTH IOWA AND NEBRASKA. SERVICES COORDINATED THROUGH THE IOWA OFFICE.
