Description
THE PURPOSE OF GIRL SCOUTING IS TO INSPIRE GIRLS WITH THE HIGHEST IDEALS OF CHARACTER, CONDUCT, PATRIOTISM AND THAT THEY BECOME HAPPY AND RESOURCEFUL CITIZENS. GIRLS MEET USUALLY WEEKLY IN TROOPS LED BY VOLUNTEERS. CAMPS AND COUNCIL SPONSORED EVENTS ARE OPTIONAL BUT ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO ALL GIRLS WHO ARE MEMBERS.
