CAN ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WHO EXPERIENCE A COMBINED VISION AND HEARING LOSS, OBTAIN EQUIPMENT TO BETTER ACCESS TELE/LONG DISTANCE COMMUNICATIONS. WILL FUND TRAINING AND INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT, UPGRADES, REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT. EQUIPMENT DOES NOT NEED TO BE RELATED TO EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION OR INDEPENDENT LIVING. EXAMPLES INCLUDE IPADS, IPODS, SCREEN READING SOFTWARE, BRAILLE DEVICES, LAPTOPS, TABLETS, ETC. CANNOT COVER HEARING, MAGNIFICATION, OR SIGNALING DEVICES THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO DISTANCE COMMUNICATIONS.
