CRISIS PREVENTION AND ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS INCLUDING EMPLOYMENT (ASSISTS WITH RESUME WRITING, COMPLETION OF JOB APPLICATIONS, FILE UNEMPLOYMENT), TRANSLATION (INTERPRETATION SERVICES OVER THE PHONE AND ON-SITE, TRANSLATION OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS INCLUDING BIRTH CERTIFICATES, DIVORCE CERTIFICATES, ETC, THE COST VARIES STARTING AT $15), EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY (M & W 12-4, FAMILIES MAY RECEIVE FOOD ONCE PER WEEK, UP TO 2 TIMES PER MONTH), FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM (AIMED AT PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN VICTIMS OF A VIOLENT ACT), REFERRAL SERVICES TO APPROPRIATE COMMUNITY RESOURCES, CAN ASSIST WITH COMPLETION OF APPLICATIONS INCLUDING MEDICAID, FOOD STAMPS (SNAP), UTILITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, AID TO DEPENDENT CHILDREN (ADC). CAN ALSO PROVIDE BUS PASSES. LATINO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND PREVENTION PROGRAM FOR YOUNG MEN AGED 10-18. LATINA LEADERS FOR YOUNG WOMEN AGED 12-18. ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM COORDINATES SPANISH GED CLASSES, ENGLISH LEARNING CLASSES, CITIZENSHIP TUTORING, AND COMPUTER CLASSES.
