1) TREATMENT SERVICES - INPATIENT - THE INTERTRIBAL TREATMENT CENTER IS FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE. CO-ED SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT FOR NATIVE AMERICANS IN SOUTH DAKOTA, NORTH DAKOTA, NEBRASKA, AND IOWA. OUTPATIENT - THIS IS THE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAM. IT PROVIDES SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER-RELATED SERVICES TO A TARGET POPULATION THAT INCLUDES NATIVE AMERICANS AND OTHERS RESIDING IN THE METRO AREA THAT INCLUDES DODGE, CASS, SARPY, WASHINGTON, AND DOUGLAS COUNTIES. TRANSITIONAL LIVING - FOR MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT THROUGH THE INTERTRIBAL TREATMENT CENTER. RESIDENTS WORK ONE-ON-ONE WITH THEIR COUNSELOR TO DEVELOP PERSON-CENTERED TREATMENT PLANS TO AID THEM IN REACHING THEIR VOCATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL GOALS. OTHER HEALTH SERVICES INCLUDE PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE, LIMITED LABORATORY, DENTAL REFERRALS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH/REFERRALS, DIABETES EDUCATION, TRANSLATION/INTERPRETATION, SCHOOL PHYSICALS, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND STD/HIV TESTING. 3) COMMUNITY PROGRAMS - SOARING OVER METH AND SUICIDE (SOMS) - PREVENTION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM IN RESPONSE TO THE HIGH RATE OF SUICIDE AND METH USE AMONG NATIVE AMERICANS. PROGRAM GOALS ARE BASED AROUND EMPOWERING AND STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES AND FAMILIES. TIRED MOCCASINS ELDERS PROGRAM - SERVES MEALS AND PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ELDERS, INCLUDING ARTS AND CRAFTS, OUTDOOR GARDENING SPACE, SPECIALTY TRIPS AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS. 4) TRANSPORTATION - PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FOR NATIVE AMERICANS WHO HAVE MEDICAL/DENTAL RELATED APPOINTMENTS IN THE THREE SERVICE AREAS BUT HAVE NO OTHER MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION.
