Description

EARLY INTERVENTION STAFF ASSIST FAMILIES OF INFANTS OR TODDLERS WITH DISABILITIES TO IDENTIFY AND MEET THE CHILD'S NEEDS THROUGH COORDINATION OF FORMAL AND INFORMAL SUPPORTS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE SERVICES THAT WILL HELP LOCATE AND ACCESS NEEDED SERVICES SUCH AS TESTING, HEALTH CARE, CHILD CARE AND RESPITE.

Eligibility: MUST BE VERIFIED AS SPECIAL EDUCATION ELIGIBLE, BUT THAT DETERMINATION DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MADE AT REFERRAL TIME. A REFERRAL MAY BE MADE (WITH PRIOR PARENTAL PERMISSION) BY ANYONE WHO SUSPECTS A DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY IN AN INFANT OR CHILD. THE FAMILY WILL BE CONTACTED.
