Description
SERVES PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND PROVIDES INFORMATION, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO THEIR FAMILIES. PROGRAMS INCLUDE: PILOT PARENTS OFFERING PARENT-TO-PARENT SUPPORT TO FAMILIES OF NEWLY DIAGNOSED CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES. JUST FRIENDS GIVES TEENAGERS WITH DD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES WTIH TEENS THAT ARE NOT DISABLED. PROJECT II PROVIDES EDUCATION, SOCIAL AND SELF-ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES TO ADULTS/DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. PRISM PROVIDES FAMILIES OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS /DD MONTHLY SUPPORT AND INFORMATION PROGRAMS.
