THE TEACHING LEARNING CENTER IS A SPECIALIZED PROGRAM FOR RESOURCE TEACHERS SERVING STUDENTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES/DYSLEXIA. ALSO HAVE SMALL CLASSES OPEN TO COMMUNITY MULTI SENSORY TEACHING METHOD. FOR SMALL CLASSES HAVE TO GET PERMISSION FROM ADMISSIONS TO AUDIT CLASSES. SUPPORT SERVICES/COURSES TO ASSIST STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES. INCLUDES THE TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE CENTER-THIS CENTER'S EQUIPMENT FOCUSES ON NEEDS OF PERSONS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES. TECHNOLOGY INCLUDES VOICE ACTIVATED COMPUTER SYSTEM, READERS, WORD PREDICTION AND SPELL-CHECKING SOFTWARE AND TALKING CALCULATORS. CONTINUALLY ADDING AND UPGRADING DEVICES. (HRS: 8:30-5 MON-THURS, 8:30-3 FRI)
