INDIVIDUAL/FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES PROGRAM-PROVIDES SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH EDUCATION, INFORMATION, ADVOCACY, FAMILY NETWORKING AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS. SIBSHOP PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR SIBLINGS (AGES 8-13) CONSUMER ADVOCACY PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZED ASSISTANCE. CORPORATE ADVOCACY INCLUDES PUBLIC EDUCATION & INFORMATION, AND MONITORING LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES. ARC VACATION PROGRAM COORDINATES TRIPS FOR PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. VACATIONERS PAY FOR THE TRIP OF THEIR CHOICE, WITH TRAINED ESCORTS PROVIDING ASSISTANCE AT A 1:3 RATIO. FUTURE PLANNING ASSISTS FAMILIES WITH PRESENT AND FUTURE NEEDS OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBER. RESPITE LISTINGS, ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION. SPONSOR FOR PEOPLE FIRST. SUPPORT GROUPS, I & R. ANSWERING MACHINE AVAILABLE DURING NON-WORKING HOURS.
